Krogering on Saturday

Saturday was a very busy day for my family (Shamrock Run, baby shower for a friend, playdate for my daughter), but I managed to fit in my weekly trip to Kroger.  I was very happy with my purchases, but spent a little more than I had planned.  I was very happy to see that I saved $55.00 between in store savings and my coupons!  I had 2/$3.50 coupons off Huggies diapers, which were marked down to $8.99/pack.  I paid $5.49/pack.  I usually buy the store brand, but this was acutally cheaper!  I got some other good buys, like discounted milk ($2.19), Prevacid ($4.00 manu coupon and $3.00 Kroger coupon), and strawberries ($1.99).  I am hopeful that next weeks shopping trip I will find cheaper milk!  Kroger seems to be marking up their discounted milk prices, but I shouldn't complain since I'm not having to pay full price!
