These rolls mark a change in season in our house. As my husband said, "These rolls are a sure sign of the holidays." I make a lot of these rolls around the holidays. Have you ever had these before? They are super easy to fix and you can find these at a lot of tailgates! I sometimes fix these for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner! I saw on pinterest that you can substitute the Brown N Serve Rolls for Hawaiian Swiss Rolls! I cannot even imagine how wonderful this dish would be with those rolls!
2 packages of Brown N Serve rolls
deli meat ham, thinly sliced
1 package of sliced swiss cheese
2 sticks of butter
4 Tbsp honey or spicy mustard
2 Tbsp poppy seeds
Split the entire packages of rolls lengthwise. Layer with cheese and ham. Replace the top of the rolls. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add the mustard or honey and the poppy seeds. Pour this over the rolls. Allow them to sit in the refrigerator overnight, then bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese melts. Enjoy!
This is also a great recipe for your leftover Christmas Ham!
