I have come to realize that shopping with my 7 year old daughter, Alex, is no longer fun. Everytime she sees something she likes she says, "Mommy, can we get this.." and it drives me nuts! Thankfully my 5 year old, Owen, and my 2 year old, Lillian, stayed at my folks house so I only had two kids to tow around!
Here are some of the deals I managed to get today:
Sauve Kids Shampoo: $1.99- $.50 coupon that doubled = $0.99
Kroger Brand Baby Shampoo: $1.34- $1.00 coup = $0.34
Pampers Diapers Size 4: $8.99- $2.00 coup = $6.99
Pampers Baby Wipes: $5.99- $.50 coup that doubled = $4.99
Campbells Veggie Beef Soup: $1.00 (I got 3)- $.40 coup that doubled= $2.20
Yoplait Kids Yogurt: $2.55- $.50 coup that doubled = $1.55
Ball Park Hot Dogs: $1.88 (I got 2)- $.75 coupon = $3.01
2% Gallon Milk: $2.49 (I got 2)
I spent $88.26 and saved $25.44. I got 6 meals for this week, snacks, breakfast stuff, diapers, shampoo, etc.! That is less than $10.00 per meal for dinner! It is amazing how much money you can save by planning AND eating in!
