Saturday's Savings

Today I went to Kroger for my weekly shopping trip.  I didn't get out of bed until 8:30am.  After fixing homemade pancakes and turkey bacon for breakfast, I went shopping.  I got to Kroger much later than I had planned.  Most all of the discounted milk and meats had been taken!  Here is a list of some of my good buys from today's trip:

A few good deals!

2 gallons of Whole Milk: $2.39/each
Prevacid: $10.99- loaded an ecoupon for $3.00 and used a manu coupon for $3.00 = $4.99
Dawn Dishsoap:  $1.49- $.25 coupon that doubled = $0.99
Cheerios & Cinn Toast Crunch: $2.18 each- ecoupon for $.55 off each and manu coupon for $1.00/2 = $2.26 (that's $1.13 each!)
Discounted Ground Turkey: $1.79
Discounted 8 oz of Sour Cream (got 2): $.49 each
Discounted Hamburger Buns:  $.79
Discounted Wheat Bread (2 loaves): $.89 each **great to freeze and use for French Toast**
Bananas $.62
Yoplait Yogurt: $2.55- $.50 coupon that doubled = $1.55
Kraft American Cheese Singles- $1.99 (part of the 10/10 deals) and I had a $.55 manu coupon = $1.49 for 16 slices!
Discounted 16oz Block of Mild Cheddar Cheese: $2.35

I spent $78.16 this week and saved $38.80!

Sunday:  Baked Chicken with Pineapple, Broccoli, Rice
Monday:  Grilled Hamburgers, Baked Beans, Applesauce
Tuesday:  Meatloaf, Stuffing, Frozen Veggies
Wednesday:  Grilled Hot Dogs, Chips, Applesauce
Thursday:  Grilled Cheese, Soup
Friday:  Pizza Night!
